Hey Mario,

IIRC, the "correct" way to do it on a package-based install is to edit 
the "S_MEMORY=" variable within the /etc/default/opensips or 
/etc/sysconfig/opensips configuration file.  For all other install types 
(e.g. make && make install), you are free to specify your "-m 2048" (2 
GB of shm, for example) command-line shared memory parameter however you 
see fit.
