Hi Kingsley.

Thanks a lot for your comment. I realised that the following was missing
before the query:

$var(user) = $rU;
$var(domain) = $rd;

It seems to be working for usernames now. Probably been the toughest bit of
self-learning. Next step, need to figure out how to make this work for
aliases.
