[OpenSIPS-Users] How do I make Cisco phones register to a domain instead of an IP?

I am doing some testing using Cisco 8000 and 9000 series IP phones. In the
configuration file for the phones there is an XML tag for
"processNodeName". This is what the phones register to. I can use a
hostname like sip.example.com but the phone always resolves it to IP and
uses the IP in the REGISTER and INVITE. There are a few other tags like
"authenticationURL" and "proxyServerURL" that I've tried filling in but I
seem to get the same behavior regardless of whether or not these tags are
populated.

I'm trying to do a multi-domain setup so I'd really like to make this work.
Has anyone been able to make this work correctly?
