[OpenSIPS-Users] Unable to get offline messages

Hello Fellow Engineers,

I am working on a opensips deployment with DB authentication, presence, and
offline messaging. I am currently using ver 1.9.x.

Currently I have two deployments, one is the development at private
network, and other one is the production site at the public IP. The
attached conf script works fine on the development machine when all the
SIP/SIMPLE clients are on the same private network. The issue is on the
production machine, where the clients over the Internet (with dynamic,
varying IP addresses) are unable to get their offline messages, although
online clients can communicate with each other. Its the offline messages
that clients are unable to get. I have checked that when an online client
sends a message to an offline client, the message get immediately recorded
in the silo table. But that message is not delivered to the offline client
when it comes online. Although the same workflow is working fine at by
development site.

I am guessing that the MSILO module probably works only

   - when both the message sender, and the offline recipients belongs to
   the same network, and/or
   - the sender and recipient IP addresses remains static (won't change).

Or there might be some settings, configuration I am missing in my conf that
take care of this situation.

Kindly look into my conf script (attached), and point out why the offline
messaging is not working at the production site. Also let me know the
corrections.

Thanks
