Quite the opposite, MediaProxy 'trunk' is updated for latest python-application. Its not yet released because other fixes are pending, but you should be able to build it yourself.

We try our best, but unfortunately sometimes we can't make everyone happy, days only have 24h.

All our packages are now ready for python-application 1.2.8, so upgrade that package and build MediaProxy as I described on a previous email, it should just work.
