Did and no luck - still not firing local_route(). Changed my forward()
to t_relay(), thinking that might be it, and got a *ton* of error
messages about memory for xlog needing increased from 4096. Did that a
few numbers up to 65535 and still got a bunch of memory allocation
errors logged.....

But, what would this tell us though that'd be different than the
output from the ngrep traces, packet captures, debug output etc, that
I've posted?
