[OpenSER-Users] How to compile OpenSer to get /etc/openser and /usr/sbin/openser and /usr/lib/openser?

Hi, is possible to compile and install OpenSer in same directory estructure as 
Debian packages? I mean:

/usr/sbin/openser*
/usr/lib/openser/modules/
/etc/openser/

I could copy /etc/init.d/openser from Debian and use option "-f /etc/openser" 
but I'd like to know if there is a "cleaner" way.

Is it necessary to modify sources for it?
