yes, such requests don't go via openser config script, unless there is a 
local loop. They are sent directly to destination. There is no logic to 
process them. If the target is a local users, the request will be send 
via loopback to openser.

FIFO, XMLRPC, datagram are just transport layer implementations for MI, 
the behavior is same for all.
