i don't know this serweb thing either.. But to come up again with a question 
that Dan Pascu asked some time ago:

Why is this whole serweb stuff in the openser setup scripts in the first 
place? I already invested quite a lot of hours to port and maintain this 
scripts.. Perhaps it makes sense to move this whole bunch of problems to an 
external package? I mean, how much people uses this interface at all?

If the serweb maintainer want to support OpenSER, perhaps we can move the 
database setup scripts to this package too.
