Hi Chris,

I strongly advice you to upgrade the 1.8 or 1.9 . Your version is really old and supported any more.

I would rather invest effort in migration, rather than in fixing old stuff.

Ler me know if the upgrade is an option for you.

Regards,
Bogdan

Subject: [OpenSIPS-Users] Network related crash

Hi,

I have OpenSIPS 1.6.2 running as a production server for more than 2
years now. Today it has crashed leaving the following in syslog:

kernel: opensips[3328]: segfault at 0 ip 0000000000422e13 sp
00007fffb002f220 error 4 in opensips[400000+142000]

full backtrace attached to this message.

Would anyone know if this issue has been address in the newer releases?
Is it worth upgrading to a more recent version in order to avoid
similar crashes?

Any suggestions very much appreciated.

Regards,
Chris
