[OpenSIPS-Users] Opensps runs as root

[Mimi Cafe]

I create opensips user and group and added the information in 
/etc/default/opensips, but I noticed that the daemon is running as root. 
In trying to fix
this , I changed ownership of all opensips files and folders from root 
to opensips and restart the service, but that didn't help.

can someone tell me why opensips ignores the direcive in the default 
startup file?
