[OpenSIPS-Users] Rebooting a Linksys through OpenSIPS

Hi,

That's basically what we have done.
And, well, as I'm still a newbie, I've tried;
* auth_name: all possibilities of "1001", "1001 at serverip",
"1001 at deviceip", "1001 at registeredDomainInOpensipsDBForThisUser". And all
of these with "sip:" added in front.
* realm: the realm in the 401 response, e.g. "172.xxx.xxx.xxx"
* passwd: "1001"
* method: "NOTIFY" (Actually also tried "10 NOTIFY")
* ruri: tried all combinations as auth_name above.
* nonce: as in 401 response from Linksys.

Any help much appreciated.

Regards,
Matti Zemack, Stockholm, Sweden

Hi Matti,

Actually it is SIP auth, so digest auth (RFC 2617)
Shortly:
    HA1=MD5( auth_usernam ":" realm ":" passwd )

    HA2=MD5( method ":" ruri )

    response=MD5( HA1 ":" nonce ":"  HA2)

Regards,
Bogdan
